Welcome Visitors

All are welcome to join our church. We hold weekly services at 10:30 on Sunday mornings, and have a variety of other events throughout the week.

We are located in the heart of Harvard Square, near the Harvard Square T stop on the MBTA. Directions to First Parish

Parking

Free parking is available on Sundays until 1:00 pm in the Church Street lot. Stamp your parking ticket at the table in the Mass. Ave. foyer. If you stay in the parking lot after 1pm, you will be charged the full regular price for parking. Free parking is available on nearby streets on Sundays and a variety of public transportation is available.

Child Care and Religious Education for Children

Nursery care is available for young children, while from September through June older children are welcome to visit the R.E. classes. Children are always welcome in the Meetinghouse.

Social Hour

Please join us for refreshments in the parlor following the service.

Social Lunches

Both the Do-Somethings (people primarily in their 30’s and 40’s) and the Young Adult Group (people primarily in their 20’s) go to lunch most Sundays after Social Hour. Visitors are always welcome!

“Get Acquainted Gatherings”

These are an opportunity to meet the ministers and some church leaders in a casual setting. This is a great time for you to get your questions answered. Contact the church office for dates.

General Questions

Inside both the Massachusetts Avenue foyer and 3 Church Street entrance there are information tables with brochures and copies of our most current newsletter (Meetinghouse News) and Community Guide. Fill out a green “visitors card” so we can learn more about you and help you feel at home in our community. Greeters are available before and after the worship service to answer your questions.
