Because of the newsletter format, there are limitations as to the type and size of articles accepted.

Articles are due by 8:00 a.m. on the 25th of the preceeding month. Dec./Jan. and July/Aug. are combined editions. Deadlines are November 25 and June 25 respectively. Please e-mail all newsletter submissions directly to office [at] fpcambridge [dot] org.

In addition to ministers' columns, the MHN may include:

* notices of upcoming First Parish events, meetings, programs and worship services
* updates regarding committee work, workshops, RE classes, and social justice/community outreach projects
* membership news (including joys & concerns, transitions and acknowledgments)

Most articles should be about 150-200 words long. Announcements may be somewhat shorter: 75-125 words long. Please use Arial font and as little text formatting as possible, as all article require some reformatting. Please send articles as MS Word or Wordperfect attachments rather than as the body of your e-mail. Articles sent as messages require intensive reformatting. Also, please name the attachment (as well as the subject of your e-mail) something identifiable, not just "Newsletter" or "SeptMHN".

Before submitting your article: Please double-check any pertinent pieces of information (names, telephone numbers, websites & e-mail addresses, dates & times, locations **, prices, etc.) to make sure they are all correct. ** Room space at First Parish needs to be reserved through Carol Rabs at office [at] fpcambridge [dot] org.
