Flower Communion
Bring a flower to participate in this annual tradition, created in 1923 by Norbert Capek, founder of the Unitarian church in Czechoslovakia, and introduced to First Parish in 1940 by his wife, Maja V. Capek. At this intergenerational service, we’ll sing from the new Spanish-language hymnal Las Voces del Camino, dedicate three children (Isaak van Dijk and Abigail and Elizabeth Sheldon), and honor our volunteers and those in our congregation graduating from high school this spring.
