Building the

Beloved Community

Our Mission

Awakened by worship, nourished by tradition, and united by love, we strive to create a multicultural, spirit-filled community that works for justice, fosters spiritual curiosity and faith formation, shares joy, heals brokenness, and celebrates the sacred in all. We welcome people of all beliefs, ages, classes, colors, ethnicities, abilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities and expressions.

***********************

Join us for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m. Recognized by the Unitarian Universalist Association as a Welcoming Congregation, First Parish in Cambridge welcomes and affirms gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in all aspects of life and leadership.

Elevator service is available to both the Meetinghouse and Parish House from the #1 Church Street ground level entrance.

First Parish in Cambridge is fully wheelchair-accessible, with elevator access at #1 Church Street. Hearing Loop installed. Switch hearing aid to T-coil

We provide assistive listening devices. Worship is interpreted in American Sign Language on Christmas Eve and Easter.

Our Covenant

In covenant with one another
and all we hold sacred
We answer the call of love —

Welcoming all people
into the celebration of life
Searching for truth and meaning
And striving for justice and compassion —

To nourish and serve each other,
