First Parish 2025 Community Auction
The First Parish 2025 Community Auction is here! The auction opens Sunday, November 9, at 8:00 am, and runs through Sunday, November 23, at 9:00 pm. We’ve collected all kinds of tempting items for you to bid on: gatherings with old friends and new, vacation getaways, personal services, gift baskets, and much, much more!
Getting A Head Start
Our community auction is fully online. You can preview most items now, but you will need an account in order to bid, starting November 9. If you don't have an account from last year, you can create one before the auction starts so you'll be ready to go!
Flat-Rate ("Buy Now") Items
Some items, such as group outings and community meals with multiple winners, are flat-rate ("Buy Now") and are first-come-first-served (example). You'll want to jump on these ASAP if you're interested!
Biddable Items
For single winner items, you will enter an exact bid—the amount you wish to spend.
For multiple winner items, such as dinner parties (example), each "seat" is listed as a separate item. You'll see this where items are marked as, for example, "1 of 8". Note that the current bid price may be different among each item, so you'll want to look through all of the “seats” for the one with the lowest current bid.
For all biddable items, you will be notified if someone outbids you and have the opportunity to enter a higher bid.
Scholarship Opportunities
We've added "scholarship" slots to several of the flat-fee events that allow participation for $1 (example) to allow those experiencing financial hardship to participate. Be sure to sign up early for these!

If you can’t find what you need there, you can contact the Auction Team by clicking on the "Contact Us" link that is prominently displayed on the auction home page and on every item, or email auction@firstparishcambridge.org. The auction team will also be available in the parlor after worship every Sunday throughout the auction.
